The scenic lake has a sandy beach area and can be used for activities including fishing and kayaking. There are also ancient live oak trees, a hardwood swamp dominated by tall cypresses, and gentle walking trails. Tent camping areas come with no power or water hook-ups, or for more comfort there are also pavilions available for overnight stays.
