Condo Rentals in North Myrtle Beach: Where to Book?

by Holly Riddle  |  Published April 5, 2019

North Myrtle Beach is part of South Carolina’s Grand Strand, a strip of beach that includes multiple beach towns. North Myrtle Beach is one of the most popular, with tons of things to do and explore. Beyond the beach, there’s parasailing, paddle boarding, zip lining, fishing, boating, shopping, amusement parks, restaurants and shows. The town was practically created for tourism, meaning you have everything you need for a great time, right at your fingertips.

If it’s a cheap condo rental you’re looking for, you’ll find the majority of condos available right on North Myrtle Beach, with views of the ocean. You can also find other condos as you go a bit south, toward Atlantic Beach, if you’re okay with staying further from the action.

HomeAway offers more than 300 beach condos for rent in North Myrtle Beach! As noted, many are right there on North Myrtle Beach, though you’ll find some toward the south of the town as well, which may be suitable for you and your family, as it can be quieter and closer to Grand Strand Airport.

All the condos are rated a 3 or 4-star, but do note that there are no exclusively “luxury” condos. As North Myrtle Beach is more of a family destination, the condos do reflect that and are built for function versus luxury.

Additionally, the destination is known as a budget-friendly vacation spot, so prices range from as little as $70 a night to up to nearly $2,000 per night.

HomeAway does require that you request your stay dates form the condo owner before booking, which means that the dates you want may not be available. However, some condos for rent are explicitly labeled as “Instant Book,” so you have the assurance of your reservation ahead of time.

ELLIOTT REALTY

Book at ElliottRealty.com

While a realty company, locally owned and operated Elliott Realty also provides North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach vacation rentals, including condos. Choose from third-row, second-row and beachfront condos, dozens upon dozens to choose from.

Search by date and then sort your condos for rent by location, number of bedrooms and rates. Prices ranges from around $300 per night to over $1,000 per night. However, you can call to book your condo and sometimes get extra savings from a representative that way.

Regardless, you can’t instant book your property and will have to contact the realty company to make your booking. A personal check is required to make a reservation and must be mailed to the North Myrtle Beach office.

BOOKING.COM

Book at Booking.com

Booking.com allows you to search for vacation homes, which is where you’ll find the condos. There are over 100 vacation homes in North Myrtle Beach listed on the website, but a good majority of them are, in fact, not condos. You’ll want to look closely before booking to ensure you’re renting out a condominium and not a private home.

The prices range from $50 to $220 per night, with most in that $200 range. Very few are oceanfront condos.
