Lonely Planet takes a look at Hokkaido, Japan

Lonely Planet voted Hokkaido the best place to visit in Asia in 2016. In this video of Hokkaido, one of Japan’s less-travelled regions, L.P. gives some pretty compelling reasons as to why that choice was made. The island is best known for its outdoors activities as it is one of the least populated parts of Japan. The video gives some insight into the different activities available year-round, as well as some of the local cuisines well worth tasting.
