Las Vegas is the epitome of the American dream at its biggest and brashest. The lights, the sounds, the sheer exhilaration of the world’s biggest playground for grown-ups are often more than enough for most people. But every now and then it is necessary to take things yet a step further. One way to do that is in a helicopter.
Here at TravelMag we want to help you take to the skies with relative ease, and that is why we have sifted through the many options for helicopter tours in Las Vegas and compiled for you a list of what we think are the best five based on price, quality of experience and more. We have even thrown in a couple of options that take in the Grand Canyon for good measure.

Not for the faint-hearted, this is one of the most popular Grand Canyon tours from Las Vegas. Departing the legendary Vegas strip by helicopter, you’ll be transported to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon where you’ll enjoy VIP access to the Skywalk – a glass bridge extending 70 feet out over the floor of the canyon, more than 4,000 feet above the Colorado River. There’ll also be live narration during the flight. Admission to the Skywalk, VIP ground transportation and a souvenir photo are included in the tour price.
FROM $300 PER PERSON
As with many of the other Grand Canyon tours, the price and experience for the Las Vegas Super Saver is competitive. Pick-up and drop-off at the hotel are not included because flights depart from a helipad just near the Las Vegas Strip. The flight itself is shorter at 45 minutes, because there are no stops along the way, just a leisurely flight over the expansive natural beauty of Nevada.
