While you can find New York City hotel deals on many sites, we’ve found that two consistently offer the best rates available. If you’ll be flying in, we recommend another option that can save you even more on a flight and hotel.

Hotels.com

www.hotels.com

Hotels.com consistently offers the best available rates on hotel rooms in New York City. With hundreds of hotels to choose from, you can save 25% or more on rooms at New York City’s best 4- and 5-star hotels. Open the map or use the filter systems to find a room in your desired neighborhood or by a specific landmark. While their hotel descriptions and photos could use some updating, we’ve found that their guest reviews provide a good idea of the hotel’s current conditions. Sign up for Hotels.com’s reward system and you’ll earn a free night’s stay for every 10 nights booked.

Booking.com

Looking for a last minute hotel deal in New York City? Booking.com has great rates on rooms throughout the city. Booking.com has over 400 hotels to choose from, with great options for those traveling as a couple or a family. Choose wisely though, as the best room deals may be non-refundable. If you’re not sure where to stay in the big city, Booking.com allows you to search for properties filtered by “Guests’ Favorite Area.” You can also filter your results by guest reviews and star ratings. We recommend checking your dates on Hotels.com and Booking.com, so you can be sure to find the best rate available.

Expedia.com

While we prefer Hotels.com when it comes to booking just a room, we have found that Expedia.com can save you a little extra if you bundle your travel. By combining your flight and hotel bookings, Expedia.com claims that users can save an average of $232. We searched a few itineraries and found that – depending on trip length, origin airport and choice of NYC airport – a couple saves anywhere from $20 to $500. Expedia.com’s customer service is available 24 hours a day and can assist with any questions on bundled travel itineraries.
