The Orlando Magic are part of the NBA’s Eastern Conference and are one of five teams in the Southeast Division. The Magic have made the playoffs 16 times since their inception in 1989. The team has yet to make the championship, but names stars like Dwight Howard, Shaquille O’Neal, and Anfernee Hardaway as former players. Their biggest regional rivals are the Miami Heat, but Magic fans share no love for the Los Angeles Lakers who ultimately claimed Howard and Shaq after they left Orlando.

The Magic play in the Amway Center, which replaced the original Amway Arena in 2010. The $480 million structure is owned by the City of Orlando and was created as part of an area revitalization including a performing arts center and the Citrus Bowl. The downtown venue is only a half hour drive from Orlando International Airport and is easily accessed via public transportation. Fans who want seats to a 2022 – 2023 game have options ranging from discount tickets to luxury suites.

Single Game Tickets

Home game tickets can be purchased in person at the Amway Center box office. The box office does not take ticket orders over the phone. Finding single game tickets is easy online via a second party site like StubHub. Searching for Orlando Magic on StubHub brings results from home and away games, so make sure to choose the correct venue.

Locating available tickets on StubHub is easy. Search for Orlando Magic and find the correct game date and opponent. Selecting a specific event will require the input of number of tickets needed and bring up an arena map with highlighted sections showing where seats are available. The column on the left of the website defaults to the most affordable seats. A slider on the right side of the page allows buyers to adjust a price range. When an available ticket is touched with a cursor the seat location is highlighted on the map. Conversely, by clicking on a section on the stadium map the left column displays only seats available in the selected section sorted in descending order from cheapest to most expensive tickets. The right column on the StubHub site allows fans to refine the seat search based on number of seats available, price, and features like wheelchair access, parking passes, and aisle seats. Tickets found on StubHub can either be resale tickets from previous purchasers or standard tickets from the sports team.

How much are Magic tickets? Cost depends on how you want to view the contest and the amount of tickets being purchased. Single seats are often a few dollars more than cheap tickets purchased in pairs or more. The most affordable tickets at the Amway Center are in the 200 level and can be found for as low as $14 each, but cost increases due to popularity of the opposing matchup. The most expensive tickets are floor seats, especially those located behind the team benches. To use digital tickets StubHub recommends downloading the mobile app, which only takes a few seconds. Once logged in, select My Tickets and any purchased tickets will appear along with an order history and order number. From here users can view tickets for admission into the venue. A mobile ticket notice is also sent to the account email. StubHub suggests making sure the tickets are what was ordered. Purchaser name does not need to be on tickets and face value of ticket may differ from price paid.

Group and Specialty Tickets

The Magic offer multiple options beyond single game tickets. Season tickets offer seats to every home game. Other ticket plans include 10- and 20-game packages, which sell out quickly. The Fast Break Monthly Pass allows fans to enjoy five games per month on a monthly subscription. Groups can purchase specially priced tickets for 10 or more at a 40 percent discount and include priority access to unique fan experiences and preferred seating. Fan experiences for groups can include cutting down nets, postgame photos, and several other options for performing and children’s groups. A variety of premium suites are available at the Amway Center. The ultimate in luxury are the Presidents Suites for 16-24 people, but the Legends Suites are more affordable shared suites with private restrooms and all-inclusive food options for one or more attendees.
