Renowned for their melodic piano-driven anthems, the British band are once again drawing packed crowds as they take their latest World Tour – ‘Music of the Spheres’ – around the globe through the rest of 2023 and beyond. Upcoming dates are scheduled in cities including Los Angeles, Tokyo, Jakarta, Perth, Bangkok and Athens before ending in Dublin at the tail end of next year. If you’d like to attend a Coldplay concert over the coming months but tickets are sold out for your preferred dates, then we’ve picked out two great online resources offering resale tickets.

Viagogo

A renowned peer-to-peer ticket resale and exchange platform, Viagogo’s website is easy to use and if you book more than one seated ticket for an event, the seats are guaranteed to be alongside each other, so you won’t be separated from the people you’re attending with. Tickets can be issued electronically to be stored on your phone or printed, so you don’t need to worry about them getting lost in transit. When it comes to availability, during our search for tickets for upcoming Coldplay concert dates, we found a wide selection on offer, with prices starting at around $185 for a single ticket. We also noticed that the best value tickets were for approaching dates, we would guess because sellers had dropped their asking price with time running out to find a buyer. For concert-goers arriving in their own car, there’s also a ‘parking’ tab that lets you purchase off-site parking near the venue. Buyers should also be aware that there are some add-on costs, including having to pay 20%-30% of the total ticket price in fees.

StubHub International

Another well-established peer-to-peer online ticket exchange service, StubHub International allow you to buy resale tickets for entertainment events across the globe. As with Viagogo, sellers can price tickets as they choose, but usefully the website lets you view the face value cost of each ticket so you can compare it against the asking price. Buyers can request for tickets to be delivered physically, as print-at-home, or directly to your mobile as e-tickets. When we searched for Co tour concerts, we found availability starting at $234 for dates in Budapest in mid-June 2024. Additional fees for service, delivery and VAT tended to be around $100 per ticket, but to avoid you getting caught out, there’s a slider that lets you see the full cost before you book. StubHub also offers a FanProtect Guarantee policy that helps you secure a refund if anything goes wrong with your tickets.
