Home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums, the Bavarian capital of Germany is also a forward-thinking city – a statement supported by how it has embraced co-working culture in recent years. Today the city is dotted with typically well-designed co-working spaces where transient workers can find like-minded communities of freelancers, self-starters and entrepreneurs. We’ve picked out 7 of the best.

BASE

An “entrepreneurial workplace of the future”, BASE combines a desirable location in the heart of Munich with a friendly, productive environment in which young, driven professionals can work efficiently, share ideas and socialise. Spread over 500 square metres, the space offers a range of on-site services and amenities to members including a wide choice of desks, phone booths, printing/scanning equipment, conference rooms, kitchen facilities  and complimentary barista coffee/tea. Both flexible and fixed desk options are available, starting at €250 per month for a flex desk package with unlimited midweek access, and 24/7 access for fixed members. There are also day passes available for €25 per day.
