Summer’s Evening from the air in Isla Mujeres, Mexico

Cancún might be the place that draws the crowds during the tourist season, and some never leave the Zona Hotelera, but it’s the tiny Isla Mujeres that, if anything warrants an escape to experience a less commercial side to the region. While many people hop on a ferry for a day trip, the island really starts to shine when the day-trippers have gone back to Cancún and this week’s video from New Nomads shows us just why. This drone footage video gives a great view of the north part of the island’s impeccable white sand beaches, marina and palm-tree lined streets.
