A trip to Paris should be all about the joie de vivre, not dragging two suitcases up the Champs-Élysées. Luckily for anyone who is passing through the French capital with their luggage there are a number of great options to store the bags safely while you sample baguettes and the Eiffel Tower. There are options for both short-term and long-term luggage storage and often prices are much cheaper than you might think – even that bulky day rucksack or shopping bag can be offloaded for a few Euros. Here is where to find cheap luggage storage in Paris.

Carrousel du Louvre

The Carrousel du Louvre is an underground shopping centre in the heart of Paris. An extension of the Louvre Museum it was opened in 1993 and has a showcase Inverted Pyramid which featured in The Da Vinci Code bestseller by Dan Brown. Perhaps less visually exciting but more useful are the lockers on Level 0. The lockers are available in two sizes (small and large) and are big enough for anything from coats and jackets to shopping bags and suitcases. A small locker costs €4 for the first three hours and €1 per additional hour. A large locker is €6 for the first three hours and €1 per additional hour.
