Sun, sand, sea and suds should be the Miami motto. These five top brewery and beer tours seek out the latter, with plenty of tastings included along the way.

The beer revolution has swept over Miami and across the city there’s more than a dozen microbreweries and taprooms to visit. Some have grown in size and local stature, such as M.I.A. Beer Company, others are doing something different, chipping new niches into an already nuanced industry. Take Veza Sur for example, with its Latin vibes and beer cocktails, which you’d be safe to reserve judgement on until you’ve tried them. Try a selection of the best Miami breweries and beers available on one of these four tours.

Small-Group Brewery Golf Cart Tour of Wynwood with a Local Guide

Wynwood is well known as the creative, street art hub of Miami. What many people don’t know is that there are four craft breweries in the area as well. This 90-minute tour explores both art and beer, sometimes combining two passions into one as some breweries are decorated with their own murals. The sites chosen will vary depending on the tour time and day, but you’ll be guaranteed two craft beers at different breweries as part of this tour, in between cruising past vast murals in a golf cart. Runs Tue-Thu. From $59 per person.

Wynwood Art & Brewery Tour

If making only two beer stops does not sound like it’ll be enough for you, this 2.5-hour tour has time to take in three breweries and tastings, including Veza Sur, with its collection of traditional and signature brews. The exterior of Veza Sur is also covered in graffiti, which forms the second half of this tour’s focus: Wynwood’s art-covered walls. There are tastings included at all three microbreweries, with daily departures available. From $89 per person.

Highway to Havana Brew Bus Tour

The Brew Bus tours are a great way to get further afield in Miami to visit some of the lesser-visited breweries. And because the driving and transportation are taken care of, guests can start sampling beers before they even reach a brewery; your first tipple will be provided while you wait for the tour to depart. This guided trip ensures a safe and well navigated tour, while you tour around three breweries, some of which are bringing the city’s Cuban and pan-Latin influences to the beer. From $97 per person.

Party Bike to the Best Breweries in Wynwood

You may have seen the Party Bike around Miami, or indeed many other major cities around the world with a drinking culture. The one big bike is powered by everybody on it, sat around a central section where you can rest your beer. Naturally, you’ll have a guide to keep you on track as you navigate the Wynwood streets between the neighborhood’s best murals. This tour is ideal for groups, with space for up to ten people. An alternative party bike, which seats between 11 and 16 people, costs an extra $50. The bigger your group, the better the value. From $450 per group.
