Berlin’s vibrant hotel scene continues to grow, with new accommodation options regularly popping up across the city.

An intoxicating mix of history and nightlife help make Berlin one of Europe’s most popular city break destinations. And catering to its visitors are a huge choice of places to stay, ranging from high-rise city centre hotels to aparthotels no-frills guest houses out in the suburbs. If you’re coming to Berlin and would like to stay somewhere brand new, we’ve compiled a list of the latest additions to the city’s burgeoning portfolio of hotels.
Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm
In September 2024, Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm opened as the first upscale Radisson RED property in Germany. Just steps from Kurfürstendamm, one of Berlin’s most famous shopping streets, the new hotel combines a prime location with some top-notch amenities. Among them are a signature bar with live DJs, a garden terrace complete with hammocks, table football and summer barbecues, a state-of-the-art fitness room co-working space, and a breakfast restaurant. Guest rooms come with TVs, coffee machines and private bathrooms with rain showers. The nearest U-Bahn station is a few minutes walk away, offering easy access to the rest of the city. From €97 per night.
sly Berlin

A few months earlier came the arrival of sly Berlin, located in the edgy district of Friedrichshain in the eastern reaches of the city. Blending city energy with historic charm, the design-led hotel’s elegant bedrooms feature oak floors, preserved architectural details and rain shower. Elsewhere, guests can dine in style at the on-site restaurant and bar, housed in an eye-catching greenhouse-style space with skyline views. There’s also a rooftop spa and sauna and a 24-hour snack shop. All kids receive a free pick ’n’ mix selection on arrival. For respite from the city hustle and bustle, the vast green expanse of Volkspark Friedrichshain is within easy walking distance. From €118 per night.
Apartments Issa

At the tail end of 2024, the curtain went up on this brand new Berlin apart-hotel. Located in the Reinickendorf district to the north of the city centre, the property features a choice of family rooms, each equipped with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. For those wanting to prepare their own food, there are also rooms with kitchenettes complete with a stovetop and kitchenware. Free WiFI and private on-site parking are also available for all guests. The expansive Tegeler Forst nature reserve can be found close by. From €170 per night.
Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side
There are also a handful of hotels set to open in Berlin in the not-too-distant future, including the Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side, part of the renowned Hyatt chain of hotels. Situated in fashionable Friedrichshain, close to the famous painted section of the Berlin Wall known as the East Side Gallery, the property will feature a total of 223 stylishly-designed guest rooms and suites. Elsewhere in the hotel, there’ll be a fitness area and a coworking area. The hotel will also boast a strong sustainability focus, primarily aimed at young guests.

Visitors travelling to Berlin by air can also benefit from the introduction of the a new airport hotel slated to open its doors in spring 2025. A mere 7-minute drive from Berlin’s International Airport, the brand new ibis Hotel promises to become a popular choice for those with an early departure or late arrival into the city. There’ll be a cool lobby bar serving snacks and drinks, breakfasts served each morning, an observation deck and free on-site parking. From the hotel, the city centre is about a 40-minute drive away.
