Renting out a temporary private office space is a great way to ensure you can work productively in a professional environment, but without the tie-ins of a long-term contract. In Los Angeles, there are numerous venues offering short-lets on offices that cater to individuals through to large teams. These serviced offices take care of everything, from the furniture to the high-speed WiFi – all with flexible terms. We’ve picked out three of the best short-term office operators in LA below.

Regus

A renowned name in the office space sector, Regus have a large presence in Los Angeles with 16 venues dotted across the city, each offering a choice of fully customisable private offices for rent, as well as coworking areas. All of their office space packages include access to facilities such as printers, scanners and photocopiers, plus invites to networking and social events. Prices vary by location, starting at £219 per month for an office in the prestigious Fine Arts Building, which is spread over five floors and offers lounge and common areas, meeting rooms, views over downtown LA, and on-site parking.  For more ad hoc use, there are also offices available to rent by the hour or day, with day rates starting at $69.

Coworking spaces

If you’re happy to be in a communal setting with people outside of your direct work sphere, then Los Angeles is also home to several coworking spaces offering a choice of hotdesking or fixed desks. Most of them operate on a membership basis, but many will also offer day passes (or even hourly passes) for those who only need to use the space sporadically. However, if you’re in town for an extended period, then memberships are usually available on a monthly rolling basis, so you don’t have to worry about committing for too long. Membership packages also tend to come with various benefits such as full use of the venue’s amenities, as well as invites to social and networking events.
