This lesson’s instructor offers participants over 30 years of surfing knowledge and teaches in either English or Portuguese. The surf class starts on the shore for participants to learn a little surf theory and the basics of the watersport and then heads out onto the waves to a location selected for its consistent waves. The price includes rental of all equipment, and, for an extra fee, guests can receive videos and photographs of their lesson.

Located a mile outside of Waikiki’s busy beach, the lessons take place in a quieter and beginner-friendly surf sport. Professional surfers lead the classes, starting with a twenty-minute class on the land to cover the basics, and the rest of the lesson takes place in the water.
