There are some, including CNN, who believe Denver is America’s best beer town. For a country that is curently a craft beer lover’s heaven, that is quite an accolade. The Mile High City is home to a large number of breweries and the best way to get acquained with the best is through a brewery tour.
There are some excellent brewery tours available in Denver. With the quality of the beer often available here, you cannot go wrong whichever way you take your suds. Nevertheless, we decided to research them all (tough job, this) to bring you a list of the best three based on things like itinerary and value for money. And remember folks, please drink responsibly.

BOOZE AND BREWS WALKING TOURS
FROM $50/per person
Over the course of three hours you can get an excellent introduction to the Denver beer and brewing scene. But sometimes, beer just isn’t enough and you must throw in some spirits for good measure. That’s what happens on this downtown walking and drinking tour. Visit some of the best breweries in the Mile High City district of Denver and see the behind the scenes of Colorado whisky and vodka production. And of course, sample it all.

GUIDED BREWS AND BIKE DAY TOUR
From $79/ per person
In theory, half a day of bike rental is a wonderful way to explore a city. You can set your sights a little further than exploring on foot, and burn a few extra calories on the way. But then again, if all you’re doing during that half day is drinking, be mindful to remember your highway code after a couple of rounds. There are two guided itineraries to choose from, either the Highlands or the Ballpark tour. Each one ensures you’ll get to see and sample from some of the best breweries in Denver.

HISTORICAL LOWER DOWNTOWN DENVER BEER TOUR
From $40/ per person
Known colloquially as LoDo, the Lower Downtown district of Denver has some of the best craft breweries and bars in the city. On this two and a half hour tour you’ll be trying at least ten free beer samples at four of those spots and learning a bit about the more scandalous history attributed to this part of the city. Two examples of the places visited include Rock Bottom Brewery and Wynkoop Brewery, which was founded in 1988 by the Colorado Governor, no less. Colorado sounds pretty alright.
