Part of the Windward Islands, the waters surrounding these Caribbean hotspots offer some of the most idyllic cruising grounds anywhere in the region. There are a wide number of companies offering boat rentals in and around the Grenadines, with a choice of sailboats, motoryachts and catamarans available for everything from a few hours through to several days at sea. We’ve picked out three of the best companies for finding a Grenadines yacht charter below.

The booking process is simple and intuitive – you simply fill in details about your trip, including the number of guests, dates, preferred itinerary and any special requests, then you ask for a quote and wait to receive a shortlist of available vessels. When we looked at availability in the Grenadines, we found over 140 vessels available, including an impressive 110 catamarans. Pricing started at $11,300 per week for a 54-foot sailing yacht that can sleep up to 4 guests.

A renowned name in the boat rentals market, Click & Boat list more than 40,000 vessels for hire across the globe – and are particularly popular for day charters. A peer-to-peer platform, owners create a free listing for their boat by adding pictures, a description, price, and tips on the local cruising area. Renters can then contact them directly via an online messaging service to ask any questions, as well as view feedback from previous renters. Bareboat rentals are the cheapest option, but you can also have a captain onboard for an additional cost. When we searched for boat rentals in the Grenadines, there were over 100 vessels available, with the cheapest option a 34-metre sailboat priced at $182 per day before fees.

Sail Grenadines

Based in the United Kingdom, Sail Grenadines expert team have a wealth of knowledge about the Grenadines and Windwards Islands as a whole. Guests seeking a charter in the area can choose from a wide range of bareboat, skippered or power and sailed crewed yacht charter excursions, or even learn to sail with a dedicated sailing school. The most affordable options are bareboat, although some boats – usually depending on size – require a license to helm them yourself. Unlike the other charter companies recommended on this list, pricing is available only on request.
