Miami International Airport: Alamo & Hertz
For those arriving into Miami by air and wishing to find a luxury car rental at Miami International Airport, there are numerous rental desks located inside the terminal as well as close by. For the best value, we’ve picked out Alamo and Hertz, with both offering a wide number of high-end cars at rates that won’t break the bank. When we conducted an online search for dates in mid-January, we found Alamo’s most enticing deal to be a Toyota Rav 4, which was available for $205 for a week’s rental, with free cancellation and theft protection included. Hertz, meanwhile offered a GMC Terrain for $208 per week. Both companies have extremely positive customer feedback too.
Downtown Miami: Sixt & Alamo
Many visitors to Miami will want to be based close to the downtown district, and if you’d like to rent a high-end car from this area, there are several options to choose from. We’ve selected Avis and Budget as the companies providing the most attractive luxury options. Among the best offerings we found were a Mercedes-Benz CLA by Sixt, available for $202 for a week’s rental, and a Nissan Maxima by Alamo, which you can rent for $193 per week.
Miami Beach: Alamo & Dollar
Everyone visiting Miami will at some point end up at the iconic Miami Beach, and if you plan to spend a lot of time on this famous sandy shore, it may be worth picking up a rental car from an agency in the area. If you like the sound of cruising the coastline in a bit of style, we’d recommend you opt for either Alamo or Nationa – although whatever agency you opt for, be prepared for some hefty prices. Thrifty offer a Toyota Corolla for $856 for a week’s rental, while Dollar’s stand-out deal is a Buick Regal which can be rented for a more affordable $353 per week.
