As opposed to many of its competitors, there are no hidden or upfront fees to pay, and the rent price is inclusive of all utility bills. You can also search specifically for properties that don’t require a deposit. When we conducted searches for properties in Vienna, we found 216 available, with prices from €649 per month for a 1-bedroom apartment.
HousingAnywhere
HousingAnywhere is a well-established name within the accommodation market, offering affordable mid- to long-term rental homes for anyone else needing a living solution in a new city. Their listings include a big selection of budget-friendly flatshares, which is a popular choice with students keen to save money and meet new people. Tenants pay one month’s rent upfront, and a secure instant messaging service allow you to speak directly with the home owner, or whoever is advertising the home. Several other useful features include search alerts that send new listings to your email. As for availability, our search for Vienna apartments brought up over 1,500 properties, starting at €30 per month for a private room in a flatshare with four housemates.
