Thirteen miles south of downtown San Francisco, San Francisco International Airport has flights to points throughout North America and is a major gateway to Europe and Asia. It is the seventh-busiest airport in the US, with almost 27 million passengers passing through it annually. Typical driving time from downtown to the airport is around 30 minutes, but traffic can make this journey lengthier. Many international airlines request that you arrive three hours in advance of our flight, so be sure to check your chosen airline’s policy before you travel.

If you need to park your car at San Francisco Airport, there are a number of excellent parking deals to pick from. Both off site parking and on site parking are both available, with long term parking near San Francisco Airport typically representing the most affordable options. These cheap parking deals usually include a free shuttle service to the terminal, too. Below you’ll find three of the best ways to book airport parking at San Francisco Airport online.

Way is an aggregator website that assembles airport parking deals for off-site parking lots across the world and displays them in neatly packaged formats online. Many of the deals on offer include other services and optional add-ons, such as round trip airport shuttles and 24-hour security. Deals can be booked online or on the Way smartphone app. Pricing is usually much more affordable than official airport parking deals, and if you book for longer periods, such as a week or a month, then you can often find some great value rates. When we researched deals at San Francisco Airport, we found a total of 99 options, starting at $6.95 per day for a parking lot 1 mile from the airport. Another benefit of booking through Way is that they offer full cancellation refunds any time before check-in.

Official airport parking is invariably the most expensive option, but for sheer convenience it’s impossible to beat. There are six options for long-term parking at San Francisco Airport: the Domestic Parking Garage, International Parking Garages A and G, the Long-Term Garage, the ParkFast Garage and ParkValet. The Long-Term Garage and Lot are north of the airport and charge $25 per day. For those happy to push the boat out, valet parking is $45 per day. You can also park for $10 per day at an official off-site parking facility that provides shuttle service to the terminals.
