One of the three major airports in the larger Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area with more than 24 million passengers a year, Washington Dulles International Airport is located in Loudoun and Fairfax counties in Virginia, 26 miles west of downtown Washington, D.C. Journey time by road between DC and Dulles is about 35 minutes in standard traffic, but you should always try to give yourself some breathing space in case of any incidents along the way.

If you need long term parking near Dulles Airport, there are plenty of options available, ranging from the economical through to more expensive services. Whatever your preferences and budget, there’ll be something for you, and to help you find the right deal we’ve looked into all of the parking providers around the airport and picked out three of the best.
Price comparison websites are the best way to get a broad overview of all the relevant deals available, ensuring you get maximum value for money. Way.com provide this service for cheap parking deals at airports around the world. All you do is punch in your preferred travel dates and you’ll quickly be presented with all of the options, which you can then book via the website or using the Way.com smartphone app. When we searched for long term parking near Dulles Airport, we found 8 options, starting at $3.75 per day for parking 1.5 miles from the airport. Cancellation is free up to the start of your check-in period, too.
The most expensive parking rates are usually with Official Airport parking, but if you’re happy to pay that bit extra then it’s probably your best and most reliable option. At Dulles Airport, the cheapest official parking is at the Economy Lots, where rates are $10 per day. The Lots are just minutes from the Terminal, with shuttle services provided 24/7 at 10-minute intervals. If you’d like to park your car in a covered garage, Dulles has two modern garages with easy access to the Terminal by either covered pedestrian walkways or shuttle bus service. The garages are equipped with an automated space counting system, which indicates how many open spaces are available on each level. Rates are $17 per day. Valet Parking is located on the Departures Level Curb in Departures Zone 3, and costs $35 per day.
For tired travellers, an airport hotel can be nothing less than a god-send. The only issue is, if you’re also coughing up for a flight and airport parking, you could end up with a hefty bill on your hands. ParkSleepFly help you avoid this fate by offering package deals that combine long term parking and hotels at more affordable rates than if you booked them individually. When we searched for off site parking at Dulles airport in June, we found two available packages. The cheapest was an overnight stay at Comfort Inn, located 6 miles from the airport, which when bundled with a week’s parking would cost you $126 – that’s a saving of $15. The next cheapest deal was $132 for a stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton, 3.7 miles away, plus parking – which would save you $13. Another perk is that these deals come with a free airport shuttle and a free cancellation policy too.
