Located on the far northwest side of Chicago, 14 miles from the Windy City’s famous Loop district, O’Hare International Airport is one of America’s busiest transport hubs and has direct flights to more than 200 destinations across the world. Reaching the airport by road from the city centre can normally be done in around 20 minutes, but if you’re travelling during busy periods than we’d advise allowing for at least 30 minutes.
There are plenty of options for short term parking and long term parking near O’Hare airport, but finding a cheap parking deal isn’t always the easiest task. On-airport parking is usually the most convenient option but it’s also the most pricey. If you’re flying out of Boston any time soon and need somewhere affordable to park your car while you’re away, we’ve dug deep and picked out three of the best off site facilities offering economy parking rates at ORD. You’ll find our selection below.
From $8.99 per day
Located 2.5 miles from O’Hare in the village of Schiller Park, just to the south of the airport, Routes offers outdoor valet parking from $8.99 per day. Open 24/7, there’s a continuous free shuttle service to and from the airport terminals that runs every few minutes. Other services and amenities include 24-hour lot attendant, restrooms, car wash and shuttle tracking. You can cancel your parking spot reservation any time before the check-in for a full refund.
From $8.99 per day
Situated 2 miles from the airport in the city of Des Plaines, this Best Western hotel offers convenient and affordable off site parking. Outdoor self-parking starts at $8.99 per day, with a requirement to book for a minimum of one day. Open 24/7, there’s a 24-hour shuttle to the airport that runs every 30 minutes. On arrival, customers should report to the facility’s front desk to check-in with their confirmation receipt in hand. Reservations can be cancelled any time before check-in for a full refund.
From $20.95 per day
Like out first recommendation, WallyPark is located in Schiller Park and is 2 miles from the airport. However, it is somewhat more expensive at $20.95 per day for outdoor valet parking. Nonetheless, we’d recommend this facility for its services and amenities, as well as its consistently good customer reviews. An airport shuttle runs every five minutes and there’s luggage assistance, 24-hour security, a WallyClub Frequent Parker Program, and Travel Agent or Corporate Discount Programs. A full refund is offered if you cancel your reservation at any point before your check-in time.
