The Wells Fargo Center was built as a replacement to the ailing Spectrum in South Philly’s sports district and was opened in 1996 with a private concert by Ray Charles. The venue seats just over 20,000 fans for basketball games. Located only a few minutes from Little Italy, the sports complex allows out of town visitors to easily visit popular cheesesteak attractions. Its location allows for straightforward access via car, bus, or rail. A $265 million renovation called Transformation 2020 installed a new scoreboard, opened new premium seating areas, and made for a partnership with a local casino. Fans who want seats to a 2022 – 2023 game have options ranging from discount tickets to luxury suites.
Single Game Tickets
Home game tickets can be purchased in person with credit card or cash at the Wells Fargo Center box office. The box office is open on event days, 3 hours prior to the start of the event. Finding single game tickets is easy online via a second party site like StubHub. Searching for Philadelphia 76ers on StubHub brings results from home and away games, so make sure to choose the correct venue.
Locating available tickets on StubHub is easy. Search for Philadelphia 76ers and find the correct game date and opponent. After selecting an event and choosing the number of tickets needed an arena map highlights sections with available seats. The column on the left of the website defaults to the most affordable seats. A slider on the right side of the webpage allows buyers to adjust a price range. When an available ticket is touched with a cursor the seat location is highlighted on the map. Conversely, by clicking on a section on the stadium map the left column displays seats available in the selected section. Cheap tickets are listed first. The right column on the StubHub site allows fans to refine the seat search based on price, seats available, and features like wheelchair access, VIP status, and aisle seats. Parking passes are also available in a refined search. Tickets found on StubHub can either be resale tickets from previous purchasers or standard tickets from the sports team.
How much are Sixers tickets? This depends on the view and the number of tickets being purchased. Single seats are often a few dollars more than tickets purchased in pairs or more. The most affordable tickets at the Wells Fargo Center are in the 200 level and can be found for as low as $22 each, but cost increases with the popularity of the opposing matchup. The most expensive tickets are floor and riser seats close to the action. StubHub recommends using the easy to download and use mobile app to access digital tickets. Once logged in to the app, select My Tickets and any purchased tickets will appear along with an order history and order number. From here users can view the tickets for admission into the venue. A mobile ticket notice is also sent to the account email. StubHub suggests making sure the tickets reflect what was ordered. Purchaser name does not need to be on tickets and face value of ticket may differ from price paid.
Group and Specialty Tickets
For some games the lowest prices are for standing room only in the new Assembly Room and tickets in Revolutionary Row located above the 200 level. The Sixers offer season tickets for every home game as well as partial plans at a rate lower than single game prices. Partial plans provide seats for 5, 10, or more than 20 games. Group tickets offer fan experience options like participation in the high-five tunnel, pregame court access, and on court recognition. Theme nights throughout the season recognize groups like first responders, military service members, and specific heritages. The Center also offers premium suites, a club level, and other VIP sections.
Arriving at the venue
Parking is easy and convenient at the Wells Fargo Center with 10 organization run lots surrounding the building. Premium and reserved parking offer the easiest access to I-95. Lot F offers the easiest entry and exit for in-city drivers. Wells Fargo Center recommends pre-purchasing parking through spothero.com, but lot attendants accept cash and major credit cards. In some cases, pre-purchased parking can be discounted by 50 percent off the day-of-event rates. The Center is also accessed via subway on the orange Broad Street Line.
