Florida is known for its sun-filled, natural beauty and an array of outdoor activities. Campers make visits to nearby beaches like Clearwater Beach, Honeymoon Island State Park, or St. Pete Beach easy, plus RV rentals can be cost-effective, especially for families or groups of friends. To help you find the best camper rental, we have selected what we consider the best RV rental agencies servicing Tampa. Here are our picks.

Outdoorsy

Peer-to-peer marketplaces for RV rental are popular, and Outdoorsy allows RV owners to advertise and loan their vehicles to people needing an RV for a short amount of time. Vehicles come in multiple sizes and styles, from 2-person trailers to much more spacious vehicles that can sleep larger groups. An advantage of booking an RV through a company like Outdoorsy is the potential for cheaper deals over normal rental agencies or even the cost of buying.

When we searched for RVs in Tampa, we found hundreds of options available for pick-up across the area. A 2020 Fleetwood Discovery LXE is “luxury on wheels.” This 41 ft. Class A motorhome sleeps 10, comes with modern conveniences like a washer and dryer, and runs $575 plus fees per night. For a smaller crew, a 29 ft. 2022 Coachmen Cross Trail is spacious for 4 but can sleep up to 8. This RV comes fully stocked and even has 3 smart TVs all for a low daily rate of $179 plus fees. Some owners on Outdoorsy will deliver for a fee and most vehicles require added insurance.
