The Best Language Schools to Learn Spanish in Seville

Seville is a great location to immerse in Spanish. Language schools have a variety of Spanish courses available, including evening courses, intensive language classes, and exam preparation courses. We’ve researched what’s on offer, and selected five of the best language schools in Seville taking into account course pace, teaching style and testimonials from previous students.

Giralda Center
The Giralda Center has been teaching Spanish since 1983, welcoming students to its grounds in the centre of Seville, between the historic Puerta Osario and Santa Justa train station. This Cervantes Institute accredited language school teaches a number of courses to vary depending on students’ learning style, availability and budget: intensive courses, one-to-one classes, group classes designed for schools, colleges and universities, internship programmes and DELE prep courses for those looking to certify their Spanish skills, are all available. Classes have a maximum of ten students to guarantee personalised learning and encourage participation. Courses also include four hours of cultural activities a week and extra-curricular language workshops.

Centro MundoLengua
Centro Mundolengua is a Cervantes Institute accredited institution in the heart of Seville, just steps from the city’s popular cathedral. The language institute offers fully customisable Spanish language and culture programs as well as educational tours for middle and high schools, colleges and universities. Centro Mundolengua offers year-long intensive Spanish language programmes and cultural courses for adults, at beginner through to advanced levels. These courses start throughout the year and welcome students from around the world to the beautiful Andalusian city.

Sevilla Habla
Recommended by Seville’s tourism board, Sevilla Habla is a language school located in Seville’s historic centre, specialised in creating Spanish courses for foreigners. Classes at Sevilla Habla take place in the morning or evening, making this a great choice for those with commitments during the day. Each class is made of between six and nine students, with courses offered at beginners (A1) to advanced (C1) levels. Their small team is made up of Spanish nationals, with this close group of teachers and staff creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The school is happy to help with accommodation queries, visa questions or the NIE process.

With over 35 years of experience, Clic (Centro de Lenguas and Intercambio Cultural) is passionate about combining language with culture. The language school is located in the centre of Seville’s old town, offering customisable courses designed depending on your availability and Spanish level. Clic teaches a number of courses: intensive programmes, cultural immersion and teacher training. The team at Clic are able to organise accommodation: homestays with Spanish families, shared flats, residences, studios and apartments, all in the centre of the city and within walking distance of the school.

The Cervantes International School is part of the network of Cervantes Institute’s network of Accredited Centres, based just a short walk from the Plaza de España and Gran Vía. Spanish language courses start every Monday and cater to students’ language level with classes given from A1 to C2 levels. Courses run between one to 36 weeks depending on what pace you want to learn at and how much time you have available for classes. The school’s team of teachers are all native Spanish speakers and hold graduate degrees in Spanish Language and Literature as well as experience in teaching both Spanish to foreigners.
