Tucked away in the fashionable Buckhead district, this haute couture jewellery shop is a private appointment-only lifestyle boutique housing baubles and gems from a collection of well known designers – mostly hailing from Atlanta. Among the trinkets on display are gorgeous diamond studs, gold bangles, and silk scarves from Chan Luu, and there are also accessories, gifts and a luxurious skin care line from Tammy Fender’s. Located in the heart of Inman Park, this family-owned contemporary boutique carries the very latest collections of designer clothing and accessories for men and women, including a number of renowned, trend-setting fashion brands. It’s also the exclusive retail location where the eponymous Bill Hallman’s original designs are available for sale to the public, with his designs crafted and handmade in Atlanta for nearly three decades. Walter’s Clothing

The red-and-white awning that boasts “WALTERS” in large, blue block letters has stood out like a beacon of pride since 1956 when the shop’s founder, Walter Straus – considered the godfather of sneaker culture in Atlanta – first opened its doors. Part of the Walter’s mystique is that, even today, you’ll find shoes in the shop you can’t find anywhere else in the city. In fact, when Nike released the Air Jordan 23 sneakers in 2008, only 23 shops in the country were selected for the limited run, Walter’s among them. Today the small store remains chock-full of urban apparel, high-end sneakers & hats in multiple colours.
