Walter’s Clothing
The red-and-white awning that boasts “WALTERS” in large, blue block letters has stood out like a beacon of pride since 1956 when the shop’s founder, Walter Straus – considered the godfather of sneaker culture in Atlanta – first opened its doors. Part of the Walter’s mystique is that, even today, you’ll find shoes in the shop you can’t find anywhere else in the city.
