One of Europe’s most enticing luxury yacht charter destinations, Italy entrances all who come here with its giddy mix of natural charm, great Mediterranean weather, and exceptional tourist facilities. For private yacht charter guests, Italy is especially well equipped, with several charter companies offering yacht rental deals in the region – including a handful based in Italy itself.

Whether you’re looking for a crewed yacht or a bareboat charter, a sailboat or a motorboat, there’s a wide range of yachts available across Italy’s idyllic coastal regions. We’ve selected 3 of the best companies currently in operation that we’d recommend for Italian yacht charters.

Sailo are a global yacht rental company that invites boat owners and renters to hunt for charter companies and their fleet of vessels. Users can select from a huge number of crewed and uncrewed yachts based on date, location, price, size, and guest testimonials, and you can also create custom searches based around your specific trip requirements. When we conducted searches for yacht charters in Italy, we found 56 available, with the cheapest being a crewed 35ft sailboat available for €70 per day. If you’re looking for a catamaran, then Sailo has a large number listed for Italian charters too.
Ritzy Charters offers hundreds of yachts in the area – particularly around the Amalfi Coast and Sardinia – spanning multiple vessel styles and sizes, including motorboats, sailing boats and catamarans. For the Amalfi Coast, in particular, a motor yacht is a more comfortable option, although you can also find some excellent monohulls and cats to charter here. According to our searches, the cheapest available boat currently listed for charter in the Caribbean is priced at $1,500 per week, which gets you a 63 foot sailboat. The booking process is simple too – you just fill in a form with some essential details, including number of guests, dates, itinerary, then you ask for a quote and wait for the company to return a list of available yachts that reflect your criteria.
Representing a number of luxury yachts on the island of Capri and surrounding coastline, Capri Luxury Boats pride themselves on offering a personalised service, privacy, and choice – not to mention freedom from fixed tours and itineraries. With their bespoke charter design, guests can experience the most spectacular locations around the Mediterranean in an atmosphere of pure relaxation. Among their most popular vessels are a 16-metre Cayman speedboat that sleeps six and features a TV, stereo and padded sundeck, and a 17.5-metre Walkaround speedboat that sleeps two. Capri Luxury Boats also provide several additional on-board services including Veuve Clicquot Champagne, oysters, massages, an open bar, and live music.
