The island of Senja high up within the arctic circle, is a land of dramatic cliffs plunging into freezing seas, of orcas and soaring sea eagles. Come summer, the island becomes a wonderful place to dwell in nature – and with much fewer tourists than the Lofoten Islands to the south.
