There has been a huge proliferation of coworking spaces across London in recent years, reflecting the growing number of freelancers, entrepreneurs and self-starters who have emerged as working patterns have evolved apace. Huckletree’s Soho branch is home to more than 300 companies, freelancers and entrepreneurs and is set across four levels in the classic Brutalist building of Ingestre Court. There’s an on-site café serving everything from lattes to lunches, a custom studio hosting regular workshops, a meditation room, and several break-out spaces. Rates start at £300 per month for 10 days’ hotdesking access each month and unlimited hot desk access for £400. There are also day passes priced at £35 per day and available in packs of 5, 20, 50 or 100.

Runway East Soho

Part of a platform that focuses on utilising unused spaces in beautiful restaurants for people who otherwise work from home or coffee shops, the Work Room’s Soho outpost is situated within the hip and happening 100 Wardour Street eatery, bar and lounge.  Users can book the drop-in workspace by purchasing day-passes for £10, which includes everything you need for a productive working day including a desk, fast WiFi, electric plugs and complimentary coffee. As well as the culinary fare, other on-site amenities include the Playroom, a cosy space designed for a few lunchtime games of pool.
