The Dallas Mavericks are part of the NBA’s Western Conference and are one of five teams in the Southwest Division. The Mavericks have made the playoffs 23 times and won one championship in their short history. The “Mavs” biggest rivals are the cross-state San Antonio Spurs; the teams have met five times in the postseason.

The American Airlines Center is the home of the Mavs. The 840,000 sq. ft., 20,000 seat venue opened in 2001 at a cost of $420 million and was publicly paid for using hotel and rental car taxes. The entrance to the facility was designed by artist Athena Tacha and is named PNC Plaza, which can hold 3,000 people and incorporates an open space with fountains, retail space, and HD video displays. Inside, retractable seating can transform the basketball setting into a hockey rink for the Dallas Stars. The Center boasts state-of-the-art technology highlighted by a 1080 HD Centerhung monitor and two massive video boards at each end making the venue without a bad seat in the house. Fans who want seats to a 2021 – 2022 game have options ranging from discount tickets to luxury suites.

Single Game Tickets

Admission to a Mavs game is a hot ticket. The team holds the record for longest consecutive sold-out games in NBA history. There are still opportunities for fans to grab tickets at a discount price. Find the Mavs schedule on the team website and click on the info tab to access a pop-up ticket purchase gateway. Clicking on the “Buy Tickets” options leads to Ticketmaster. Browsing for available tickets is easy either by a venue map or by selecting a desired price range. Fans can search for single or multiple tickets to every game. After finding the perfect seat and confirming the selection the timed checkout process begins. For mobile ticketing verification tickets go to a phone or an app. After logging in or creating an account, tickets can be accessed immediately online and through the Ticketmaster app. Ticketmaster recommends using the app. From the account pull down menu select My Tickets and click on the desired event. Once the event is selected ticketholders can view the ticket barcode. When viewed in the app, tickets are instantly saved to the phone eliminating the need for internet service at the gate.

How much are Mavericks tickets? Ticket cost varies depending on seating section, the opponent, and the amount of tickets being purchased. Cheap tickets are purchased in pairs or more with single seats slightly higher. The most affordable tickets at the American Airlines Center are in the upper 300 level and verified resale tickets start at approximately $25 each. The most expensive regular seats are courtside and availability is extremely limited, especially in VIP sections. Prices for courtside tickets run several hundred dollars each and can fetch over $2,000 in some instances.
