The former factory on Bow Street, close to the banks of the River Liffey, continues to stand as a monument to Irish Whiskey, offering regular tours and experiences for visitors keen to touch, smell and, most importantly, taste the world-renowned liquor, as well as to learn about the art of whiskey-making. Whether it’s a look around the old facility, cocktail-making classes, or tasting sessions, there are tours and experiences here for everyone. We’ve compared three of the best below.

Jameson Whiskey Distillery Tour with Tastings

The classic Jameson Distillery Tour invites visitors to learn the secrets of Irish whiskey-making before settling in for a mouth-watering tasting session. During the 45-minute guided tour and tasting, you’ll be told all about the history of the building and its facilities, visiting the live maturation warehouse to see the various steps that go into creating the whiskey. Next, you’ll sit down for a comparative tasting of Jameson straight from the barrel, including a signature cocktail featuring the famous whiskey. There’ll also be  the option to purchase a bottle of personalised Jameson whiskey exclusive to the distillery to take away as a memento. From €30 per person.
