Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is three miles southwest of downtown Fort Lauderdale and 21 miles north of Miami, and offers over 700 daily flights to 135 domestic and international destinations. Traffic in this part of Florida can get pretty bad, so if you’re travelling to the airport by road we’d advise leaving with plenty of time to spare.

There are plenty of options for short and long term parking near Fort Lauderdale Airport, but finding a cheap parking deal can sometimes be a bit daunting due to the number of options available. If you’re planning to fly in and out of Fort Lauderdale and need somewhere to park your car during your trip, we’ve looked into all the providers in the area and picked out three of the best online resources for finding economy parking. You can read our selection below.
If you’re hoping to find affordable airport parking rates at FLL and don’t mind wading through a large number of deals, then a price comparison site like Way.com is your best bet. All you need to do is choose your airport and your travel dates and you’ll be presented with a range of online deals for parking lots close to the airport. When we searched for parking near FLL Airport, we found 14 options, starting at $3.45 per day for a parking lot 2 miles from the airport. You can also cancel any time up to your check-in period and still be fully refunded.
Official airport parking is usually the priciest option, but it’s also the most reliable, so you can rest assured you’re using a reputable service. There are three garages – Hibiscus Garage, Palm Garage, and Cypress Garage – offering daily rates of $15. At busy times, there’s also overflow parking for a daily flat rate of $10. There’s also official valet parking located on the Departures Level (Upper) of Terminal Drive at the curb, which costs $25 per day.
If you need an airport hotel as well as airport parking, booking them together through ParkSleepFly is likely to save you money. The website sells parking and hotel packages at cheaper rates than you’d get by booking them individually. When we searched for deals for FLL Airport in June, we found five available packages. The cheapest was an overnight stay at Rodeway Inn, located 2 miles from the airport, which when bundled with a week’s parking would cost you $149 – that’s a saving of $18. This deal – as with most available on the site – also includes a free airport shuttle, and you cancel your booking with no charge, either.
