The centre of the nation’s film and television industry, it’s little surprise that LA attracts large numbers of transient visitors, many of whom are here for short to medium-term professional obligations. For such people, there are tons of great options for short-term apartment rentals, from studios to family homes. We’ve picked out three of the best online resources for finding the right property for you.

Blueground

Founded in 2013, Blueground are our top choice for short-term furnished rentals in Los Angeles for monthly rentals of one or more months. They offer professionally-managed, turnkey apartments with flexible leases to vetted guests. Unlike Booking.com, stays of more than a month come with substantial cost savings, as the longer your stay the cheaper the rates become. When we conducted a search, we found almost 400 apartments dotted across the heart of the city, as well as in some of its most desirable neighbourhoods, with pricing starting at $2,240 per month for a one-bed  apartment in the famous Hollywood district. The online booking process is simple too, and there’s also a 24-hour support service accessed via a guest app.

Booking.com

Booking.com are our recommended resource for finding a furnished short stay apartment in LA for spells of anything from a few days up to a couple of weeks. The platform has a globally renowned reputation and is known primarily as a hotel booking website, though they also have a substantial number of listed apartments. When we looked for daily or weekly rentals in LA, around 67 apartments were available, starting at $105 per night for a studio in Hollywood. They also offer a Best Price Guarantee and there’s a comprehensive customer reviews section under each property so you can see what previous guests have to say about their stay.
