The US Virgin Islands comprises three palm-fringed, white sandy islands that are packed with personality. US citizens won’t even need to pack a passport for the holiday, but it’s worth a trip for tourists travelling from further afield too. The most developed of the trio of islands, St. Thomas, is the region’s most popular spot, famed for its ritzy resorts and watersports. On St. Croix, visitors can sink into a slower pace with world-class snorkelling and rum distilleries, while on wildlife-filled St. John’s there are seven acres of national parklands to explore. For an even more relaxing break, consider booking an all-inclusive rate, which includes accommodation, meals, alcoholic drinks and more. There are a few options to choose from so, to make the decision a little easier, we’ve selected three of the best all-inclusive resorts on the US Virgin Island.

Sugar Bay Resort and Spa

Squeezed between mountains and sea, this 30-acre all-inclusive resort is located in St. Thomas. The hotel offers 294 guest rooms kitted out with private balconies, coffee makers and cable television. There’s also a spa, four tennis courts, a fitness centre and three connecting freshwater pools. All-inclusive rates include all food and drink, kids clubs and select activities. With seven restaurants and bars serving up everything from island flavours to Italian fare, you’re unlikely to get bored of the food either. All-inclusive rates from $179 per person, per night.
