Located in the West Midlands area of the UK, Birmingham Airport is well-located for many British holidaymakers, with more than 12 million people flying in and out of the airport every year. In fact, it’s the seventh busiest airport in the UK, and offers flights throughout Europe and across the world.

To take the stress out of flying from such a popular airport, you might find it easiest to drive rather than add extra time to your journey by relying on public transport. To help you choose the right car park for you, we’ve rounded up three options which offer a variety of services to suit all budgets.

Birmingham Airport Official Parking

Book at Flybirmingham.com

Birmingham Airport offers travelers a choice of car parks depending on whether you’re dropping off or staying for longer, and all with CCTV and regular security patrols. Car parks 1, 2 and 3 offer the most convenient way to park, as they are located next door to the terminal. Car parks 4 and 5 are just a short walk away from the airport, between three and ten minutes, whilst car park seven is five to ten minutes away by bus. Electric car charging points are also available in the Premium Set Down Car Park. Prices start at £28 for up to 24 hours, and £78 for up to three days, and £8.50 per day thereafter. You can also pre-book online to save up to 70 percent and guarantee a space in the car park.

Airparks Drop and Go

Book at purpleparking.com

Airparks Drop and Go allows you to drop off your car at a car park which is conveniently located for all motorways. Just park your car in one the arrival bays, check-in at reception to receive a ticket for pick-up (keep this safe during your holiday) and then hop on the free shuttle bus to your terminal, which runs every 25 minutes and takes about 14 minutes to reach the airport. When you return, just catch the bus back to pick up your car. If this sounds like the option for you, then Airparks Drop and Go is available from £3.49 per day and £27.99 per week on Purple Parking.

Meet & Greet

Book at Looking4.com

If you want to make your journey to and from the airport even easier, then book a Meet and Greet service and let someone else take care of the parking for you. All you need to is drive up to the designated meeting point and hand your keys over to a chauffeur, who will park your car for you in a secured car park. When you arrive back from your holiday, your vehicle will be ready and waiting for you just a short walk away from the terminal. You can find the cheapest option at Looking4Parking, which will search a number of operators and deals, potentially saving you up to 60 percent if you pre-book.
