If you want maximum convenience, official long term paring at the terminal itself is certainly your best option. Detroit DTW Airport offers a variety of on-site parking options. Economy parking is available at the Green Lots, located at the North Terminal, where there’s a flat daily rate of $12, and the Big Blue Deck, which connects directly with the North Terminal through a pedestrian bridge, where you’ll need to pay $14 per day, Pricier options are available at McNamara Parking Garage ($24), which also connects via a pedestrian bridge, and for those with a sizeable budget, valet parking costs $43 per day.
Many people choose to stay in an airport hotel before or after their flight and at Detroit DTW there are numerous hotels within close proximity of the airport terminal. Park Sleep Fly is a website that offers long term airport parking and hotel packages that tend to be cheaper than booking them separately. When we did a search for Detroit Airport, we found a total of 20 deals. The cheapest was an overnight stay at the Roadway Inn, located 1.5 miles from the airport, which when bundled with a week’s parking would cost just $75.
